Still Complaining?

In the U.S.A., the average age of a homeless person is 9 years old.

There is between 10,000 - 14,000 homeless individuals in Maricopa County on any given day.

13% of Maricopa County residents live in poverty - that is nearly 450,000 people.
The number of unemployed persons increased to 12.5 million in February 2009.

Over the past 12 months, the number of unemployed persons has increased by about 5 million.
1.9 million people lost their job in 2008.

Roughly 2.9 million homes were foreclosed in 2008.

884 million people in the world, lack access to safe water supplies, approximately one in eight people.

Every 15 seconds, a child dies from a water-related disease.

854 million people worldwide are undernourished.

There is an estimated 982 million people in developing countries who live on $1 a day or less.

Kind of makes us wonder how big our problems really are, huh?
